Purpose

General computational resource

Description

Dardel is a Cray EX system from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, based on AMD EPYC processors with an accompanying Lustre storage system. There is also an accelerated partition based on AMD’s Instinct MI250X GPU and a smaller partition with Nvidia Grace Hopper superchip. The nodes are interconnected using Slingshot HPC Ethernet.

Please note: Allocations for existing projects on Dardel have been scaled and transferred to the new Arrhenius system. Dardel will be retired on 31 December 2026. The migration of existing projects on Dardel must be completed by this date.
