Arrhenius enters production

2 June 2026
Our new supercomputer, Arrhenius, has now entered production. Users who have been granted allocations on Arrhenius from June are now getting access to the HPC part of the system.

“Thanks to the excellent work done by the systems team we are able to put Arrhenius into production on schedule. Now we are looking forward to the scientific results enabled by this large increase in Swedish GPU resources,” says Andreas Johansson, NAISS Technical Director and Arrhenius Deputy Project Manager.
The PCD (cloud) partition will follow in a couple of weeks, while the Sensitive data partition will launch after the summer.
