Rossen Apostolov and Joel Hedlund join NAISS and Mimer

We are excited to welcome two new colleagues who are joining us from 1 September:

Rossen Apostolov has been appointed Director of the Mimer AI Factory. He has spent many years at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm working with supercomputing and research, most recently as Deputy Director of the PDC Center for High Performance Computing.

Joel Hedlund is our new Data Science Director who will work with both NAISS and Mimer. He has been the CIO/Data Director at CMIV – Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization and AIDA – Analytic Imaging Diagnostics Arena.
