How to acknowledge NAISS and/or SNIC

You must give NAISS and/or SNIC credit for research facilitated by NAISS/SNIC resources. Failing to comply with this requirement will have a negative impact on future allocations.

The texts below should be used also for new credits to work done during the SNIC era.

Acknowledge compute, storage, SENS, or SSC resources

This is the recommended phrasing for acknowledging the use of regular Compute or Storage resources, special resources for sensitive data, SENS, or the Swedish Science Cloud (SSC):

“The computations/data handling/[SIMILAR] were/was enabled by resources provided by the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS), partially funded by the Swedish Research Council through grant agreement no. 2022-06725.”

Acknowledge the Swedish part of LUMI

This is the recommended phrasing for acknowledging NAISS when using the Swedish part of LUMI:

“We acknowledge the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS), partially funded by the Swedish Research Council through grant agreement no. 2022-06725, for awarding this project access to the LUMI supercomputer, owned by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and hosted by CSC (Finland) and the LUMI consortium.”
